So what’s up y’all?

Late last month, I was diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Yup, come on, say it with me: hi-drad-uh-NIE-tis sup-yoo-ruh-TIE-vuh.

So I was hospitalised. It all happened really fast. Initially I thought it was just a pimple at my underarm but when it grew as big as a marble, I immediately knew it wasn’t just a pimple. Headed to the polyclinic on a Saturday, was referred to Jurong Medical Centre and then further referred to Alexandra Hospital, where they admitted me and scheduled me for an operation on the very same day. By then, the lump at my underarm was already as big as a pingpong ball.

Now, three weeks later, I am still recuperating, still going for dressing change twice a week and am currently dying of not being able to have any seafood. But hey, better now than going through it later in the year when we’re busy with the wedding.

Moving on to happier news, we have already booked our wedding venue! We can finally breathe a huge sigh of relief because that meant that we can now proceed in ordering our wedding invitations. However, that also meant that….

WE ARE SIX MONTHS AWAY FROM OUR BIG DAY!

I really am glad that we had secured most of the major bookings such as bridal, decor, photography, videography and photobooth in June last year because that enabled us to focus only on the smaller and important details such as venue (this one no choice la since we can only book six months before wedding, heh) and wedding favours. And may I add that we have ordered our wedding favours too!
